JACOB ABAYE

Jacob Abaye is the Head of our Sustainable Development Unit. He plans and implements the execution of client assignments in the area of Corporate Community Consulting with particular emphasis on Monitoring and Supervision of Community Development Projects for Shell Nigeria host communities.

He has Monitored, evaluated and reviewed several Micro-Credit Schemes in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria which includes National Poverty Alleviation Programme (NAPEP) and presently the Project Coordinator Implementation of SPDCs' Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMoU) Project in 4 communities. The GMoU is a strategic management community interface model, aimed at addressing Business, in line with community social sustainable development through funding and institutional development. The community is now responsible for its development process. He is a certified trainer with the Center for Management Development (CMD) Nigeria.

More so, his experience also includes Business Enterprise Training (BET) for Youths from Northen Swamp, Jones Creek and Ugboren Communities in Delta State.

He was a support Consultant- Tracer studies, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) conducted on behalf of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) H-Block Neighboring Communities which includes Odioma, Okpoama, Beletiama, Twon-Brass, Ewo- ama, Diema in Bayelsa State.

In addition, He was also a support Consultant SPDC,S sponsored intensive Workforce training for youths from Afam Project Host Communities
