WHAT IS MSME Project?
The MSME Project is a pilot programme of
the Federal Government of Nigeria / World
Bank Group and executed by Nigeria Investment
Promotion Commission.
WHY THE MSME PROJECT?
OBJECTIVES / RATIONALE
The objective of the MSME Project is to
boost the performance of the MSMEs through
the services provided by business development
services providers. The MSMEs have to overcome
a number of market failures that have diminishing
effects on these businesses. These market
failures results in lower levels of investments,
productivity, and employment that would
otherwise be avoided. The MSME Project aims
at correcting all the possible market failures.
